Darlington Railway Museum

Twice per month Craig Bailey gives
listeners of the breakfast show a chance to join in on the
NightFreakz paranormal investigation. In March we visited the
Historic Darlington Railway Museum. This was a special night as
it was the last event to be held at museum as it closing for a
year for refurbishment.
The team arrived at the location and seemed anxious from the
start, the place was very dark, very cold and a very lonely
place.
The investigation started off with the teams each departing for different rooms in the museum, the Cellar, The old ticket office, 3 outside rooms including the old First aid room and the platforms themselves.
The night was a very interesting night Craig screamed louder than he had ever done before when he was faced head to head with someone else staring straight back at him in the old ticket room. The face disappeared and left the whole team in shock, this was the first thing I had ever seen and the first thing I can actually say was a ghost and believe me it really was a scary experience. You never no how you are going to react until you see something and at least it's over with and I am looking forward to doing the next investigations.
The location was as buys as we expected with people being touched, breathed on, pushed over and tapped on the head on more than one occasion. We also had major interference on our walky talkies and at one stage someone shouted "May Day May Day" followed by "All aboard, all aboard" We have no idea who this was and given the fact that this is a railway museum it makes you think doesn't it. This has never happened before.
We had lots of white noise on them all the way through the night and on the final investigation of the night we were in the old first class carriages and heard a loud dragging noise on the floor of the carriages followed by a very cold draft that everyone felt. We felt this was the time to end the investigation.
Thank you to everyone at the Railway Museum it was a privilege to be allowed into such a historical place and we would love to re visit the location in the near future
